Design

Since 2009, AID has had the opportunity to work on thousands of projects at airports across the United States and Caribbean.  AID provides full-service airside and landside engineering services for small, medium, and large hub airports, as well as general aviation facilities.

Design

Construction Management

Construction management of a project helps to maintain continuity from design to completion.  AID is committed working with the contractor to ensure that the project is constructed on time, under budget, and to the exact specifications of the owner. It is AID’s policy to prepare a Quality Control Testing Schedule and a Submittal Checklist on every project to ensure that all the required testing is completed, all shop drawings and documents are submitted, and that all appropriate safety measures are adhered to. 

Construction management services include:

  • Periodic site visits 
  • Attendance at pre-construction and construction meetings 
  • Shop drawing and submittal review 
  • Quality assurance testing 
  • Review of monthly pay applications 
  • Review of certified payrolls and DBE participation reports
  • Resident Project Representative (RPR) services
  • Project Closeout
  • Prepare Record Drawings

AID has developed a solid reputation for assisting our airport clients with the Federal Aviation Administration, Department of Transportation, and the U.S. Economic Development Agency’s grant application processes. Our in-house Grant Administrators are professional federal and state grant processors. Their knowledge of eligibility guidelines, documentation preparation, submittal requirements, deadlines and coordinating with the agencies with continual follow up is unmatched.
