Embry Riddle Aeronautical University (ERAU) Eagle Flight Research Hangar
Daytona Beach International Airport - Daytona Beach, Florida
AID provided the civil design, construction phasing, and permitting through the County of Volusia and City of Daytona Beach for a new research hangar at the ERAU campus. Additional design services were necessary for obtaining site plan approval, as well as landscaping and stormwater permits. The new building consists of one large hangar with adjacent administration, research laboratory and classroom spaces. The hangar is divided into three separately occupied hangars. Other spaces in the facility include student offices, classrooms, break area, flight simulators, a mechanics/3D printer lab, and an electronics lab.
